Close Investments first entered the “Manager of Managers” market in July 2005 with the purchase of the multiple award-winning Escher UK Asset Management Limited (founded in 2000) becoming Close TEAMS Limited. The subsequent acquisition of Aon Asset Management Limited (founded 2003) in February 2007 created a substantial unified multi manager team at Close.
