Investment Policy

The Close Investments Far East Equity Fund (“the Sub Fund”) is an actively managed fund investing in equities across Far Eastern markets.  The Sub Fund’s style is flexible, using a combined top-down and bottom-up approach.  Tactical asset allocation between countries is the key to maximizing the opportunities provided by the region’s volatile markets, Themed stock selection tailored to each market, together with a disciplined portfolio construction, is also a major contributor to the Fund’s investment process.

Investment Objective

The investment objective of the Sub Fund is to maximise the total return over the longer term from a well diversified portfolio of equities (and, if considered appropriate, convertible securities) primarily quoted on stock markets in the Far East, including Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand (but excluding Japan).
